Features: Yang Feiyun was born on September 29, 1954, in the suburbs of Baotou City, Inner Mongolia. In 1978, he was admitted to the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He graduated in 1982. In 1982, he taught at the Stage Design Department of the Central Academy of Drama. In 1984, he returned to teach at the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. In 1989, he traveled to the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, and France for research, study, and exhibitions. After returning to China in 1991, he continued to teach. In 1995, he traveled to Sweden, the Netherlands, and Belgium for exhibitions and research. He is currently a member of the China Artists Association and an associate professor at the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts.
