This book takes Fujian Province as the study area and provides a detailed examination of the characteristics of ecological environment data and the methods for integrating such data. Using geoscientific research methods, it comprehensively and deeply investigates the overall features of Fujian Province's ecological environment. It explores the theories and methods of ecological environment data integration, the representation and visualization of ecological environment spatial data, the theories and methods of spatial data indexing, as well as the theories and methods of component technology and component-based GIS.
On this foundation, through requirements analysis, system functional analysis and design, database design, spatial analysis design, and algorithm implementation, the system was integrated on the excellent domestic component-based GIS software platform VisualTopo, within the VisualC++ development environment. It has been successfully applied in the assessment of soil erosion sensitivity in Fujian Province and the relative sensitivity assessment of ecological environment acid rain in Fujian Province.
This book conducts exploratory research on the development of regional ecological environment information systems based on component-based GIS, opening up a new path for the study of regional ecological environment information systems. It will provide strong technical support for regional ecological environment management and decision-making.
