Features: "Longmen Special Topics" is organized and compiled by Longmen Publishing House based on the principles mentioned above. It includes 55 titles across four subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Specifically, it consists of 12 junior high school mathematics titles, 12 senior high school mathematics titles, 5 junior high school physics titles, 7 senior high school physics titles, 4 junior high school chemistry titles, 10 senior high school chemistry titles, and 5 senior high school biology titles. At the request of a broad readership, 4 geography titles, 5 research-based learning titles, and 8 junior high school Chinese titles were added in 2002. This book is divided into four parts:
Part 1 briefly elaborates on the theory of research-based learning courses, discussing aspects such as learning characteristics, content, topic selection, evaluation, feasibility, and its relationship with the college entrance examination to enhance understanding of the significance of research-based learning.
Part 2 summarizes the main methods of the physics discipline, such as graphical methods, holistic analysis, isolation methods, equivalent substitution, and the establishment of idealized models. It alsos some common methods and approaches for research-based learning to improve students' awareness of using scientific thinking methods in their research.
Part 3 lists some research-based learning topics closely related to physics and identifies sub-topics under these themes to provide a learning model for students to reference during research-based learning. This also expands students' knowledge and broadens their learning space.
Part 4 provides several research-based learning reports, which will serve as excellent inspiration for students engaging in research-based learning.
