This book introduces the clinical experience of Professor Ma Guangya, a renowned physician from Taiwan. Ma Guangya, originally from Xiangtan, Hunan, was born in 1914. From a young age, he loved literature and calligraphy, and graduated from Hunan Provincial National Studies College. At the age of 15, he studied medicine under the famous physician Peng Wencai in Central Hunan. At the age of 24, he began practicing medicine independently. In 1947, he participated in the Chinese medicine physician examination and officially entered the field of traditional Chinese medicine. In 1951, he moved to Taiwan and became a disciple under the renowned physician Qin Qin, opening his practice in Taipei the following year. He achieved remarkable results in treating febrile diseases, bronchitis, allergic rhinitis, hepatitis, nephritis, and various difficult and complex conditions, earning a high reputation. In 1954, he was appointed as a committee member and examiner by the Examination Yuan, and in 1972, he was appointed as a board member of China Medical College. In 1975, he was appointed as a professor and later served as the head of the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine and vice president of China Medical College. He has written numerous works, such as "Traditional Chinese Medicine Diagnosis," "Examination Methods of External Diagnosis in Traditional Chinese Medicine," "Thirty Years of Clinical Practice in Taipei" (both main and continuation volumes), "New Interpretations of Febrile and Heat Illnesses," and "Clinical Syndrome Differentiation and Experience Records," making significant contributions to the field of traditional Chinese medicine.
