1. 《》, the intention is to select experiences from ancient and modern clinicians in traditional Chinese medicine that are beneficial to clinical practice, as a reference for clinical practice. Following this standard, the selection of ancient literature is mainly based on Ming and Qing dynasties.
2. Organization Structure: Each volume first lists ancient literature, followed by modern works (those still living in 1949 are included as modern physicians). Below this, diseases are listed, followed by the experiences of various clinicians. Ancient physicians are generally arranged in chronological order of birth and death. Under each disease, systematic discussions are placed first, followed by clinical cases and medical conversations. Occasionally, some theoretical discussions are placed at the beginning if their content is not suitable to be placed later. Under each disease, the experiences of various clinicians are mostly presented in a single article. In cases where several clinicians cannot be introduced in one article, they are not merged.
3. The clinicians included in each volume are all renowned masters, so the introductions are concise. Occasionally, some clinicians whose birth and death dates are unknown are unfortunately omitted.
4. Sources of literature and compilers are listed at the end of the text. Those not listed as compilers are mostly self-authored by the elderly, or the provided materials did not list the compiler, or there were omissions in transcriptions. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.
5. Ancient literature is maintained in its original form, with minor adjustments made for clarity where necessary. Some ancient texts are excerpts from the original works, all focused on practicality to avoid repetition and grasp key points.
6. Ancient literature adheres to traditional units of measurement, while modern clinicians' works are converted to legal units. This dual system is used for practical reasons.
7. The prescriptions of are written with their own unique styles. While efforts are made to standardize drug names, maintaining the original style is preferred to preserve the original style.
8. Some elderly scholars were invited to revise or reorganize the articles to highlight key points, making the main ideas clear and fresh; or to restructure disorganized content, so that the leaves are cut, the flowers are bright, and the clouds are clear, the moon appears.
