Except for a very few recipes with truly proven efficacy, this book excludes those with overly complex drug compositions, difficult-to-master preparation methods, or certain toxicity. The methods include soaking herbs in wine, boiling wine, brewing wine, or using wine to deliver medicine, or making wine paste pills, among others. The methods are diverse but easy for readers to grasp and suitable for long-term consumption by patients. This book respects the original prescriptions and drug foundations of the source material. Some formulas only include drug compositions without specific preparation methods or dosages, and the author supplements them based on clinical common dosages and personal medication experiences. For some original formulas with excessively high dosages, inconvenient for household preparation, readers can adjust the dosages according to the Western ratio and do not need to adhere strictly to the original.
