Features: This book is the sister volume of "Policy Research and Decision Consulting — Selected Research Achievements of the State Council Research Office." The articles included are selected outstanding research results published in the internal publications of research departments from provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government (except for a few provinces and regions), and planned single-column cities in 2003, totaling 131 articles. These research achievements reflect, from one perspective, the accomplishments of research departments in various provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, and planned single-column cities in conducting investigations and research on local government work priorities. To strengthen information exchange among government research departments, promote mutual learning, and enhance the capabilities of policy research and decision consulting, as well as to provide more reference materials for senior leaders, experts, scholars, and researchers studying the political, economic, cultural, and social development of various regions, we have compiled these research achievements into a book and published it publicly. The articles included in this book are arranged in the order of provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, and planned single-column cities, without categorization by content. Except for minor necessary corrections to some text, the articles are largely preserved in their original form without any changes.
