Features: To collect the laws, regulations, and documents related to the protection of adolescents' healthy growth and the prevention of juvenile delinquency by the Party and the State over the past decade, to promote the work of leaders and participating departments of the central and national government in social security governance and the prevention of juvenile delinquency, to summarize new forms and experiences created by grassroots organizations and the general public in participating in the prevention of juvenile delinquency, to compile high-quality and high-level research achievements published by theoretical researchers and practitioners, to learn from international experiences in governing juvenile delinquency and education, to introduce the work achievements of academic groups on juvenile delinquency research, and to better advance the cause of juvenile delinquency research and better serve the Party and the State in governing juvenile delinquency, it is necessary to compile and publish the second volume of the China Annual of Juvenile Delinquency Research. This volume is divided into ten parts. Social science research departments and legal and political work departments should strengthen research on juvenile delinquency, explore the laws governing juvenile delinquency, and better guide anti-crime work. Relevant departments, research institutions, and academic groups should strengthen research on countermeasures against juvenile delinquency, taking into account the physiological and psychological characteristics of adolescents. The theoretical community should adhere to the principle of combining theory with practice, conduct in-depth research, and study the laws of juvenile delinquency from macro and micro perspectives, elevating practical success experiences into theory. Practical work departments should broaden their research horizons and pay attention to promptly transforming the research achievements of academic experts and scholars into work decisions. Relevant parties should organize academic theorists and practical work departments through appropriate organizational forms to jointly study major issues related to juvenile delinquency.
