Cervicitis, how is it treated?

Patient's question:

I've been feeling unwell recently, with increased leukorrhea that is purulent, accompanied by lower back pain and lower abdominal discomfort. A thorough examination at the hospital revealed cervical inflammation, and they recommended surgery.
Previous treatment history and effectiveness: A friend of mine went to Honghu Hospital for cervical inflammation, chronic cervical inflammation, and used the Aurolock treatment. After about a week, it was basically healed.
The kind of assistance I need: I want to know about the treatment methods for cervical inflammation. I'm also wondering if the Aurolock surgery is painful. Thank you!

Doctor's answer:

Always maintain cleanliness of the external genitalia, frequently use a 1:5000 potassium permanganate solution for sitz baths, and change underwear frequently. Avoid sexual intercourse and temporarily after medication. For those with excessive discharge, a 3%–4% baking soda solution can be used for cleaning. Alternatively, 5% potassium dichromate or 20%–40% silver nitrate can be used. It is recommended not to use medication blindly to avoid delaying the condition. Go to a formal hospital for a thorough examination and take corresponding measures under the guidance of a doctor to identify the cause and provide symptomatic treatment.
