Can medication treat cervical erosion?

Patient's question:

I just got divorced and then found out I have cervical erosion. The doctor prescribed ointment and medication for me, but after using them, it hasn't stabilized, and I'm in a lot of pain. I don't know what to do. My friends with gynecological conditions have all been treated, but I still haven't.

Doctor's answer:

Medication for Cervical Erosion - Suitable for patients with a smaller area of erosion and superficial inflammation.
2. Physical Therapy - Currently one of the most widely used treatments, it has the advantages of a short course and good efficacy, and is suitable for patients with a larger area of erosion and deeper inflammation. Common methods include: electrocoagulation, laser therapy, and cryotherapy.
Women with cervical erosion who are not pregnant are advised not to undergo physical therapy, as excessive treatment may sometimes leave permanent scars. This could lead to glandular self-locking, causing changes in cervical mucus and resulting in infertility. It may also cause difficulty in cervical dilation during childbirth. If clinical symptoms are not significant, treatment may be deferred, and consideration can be given during labor.
