How can one deal with cervical erosion?

Patient's question:

Doctor, I am 26 years old this year, and I work. I once had an improper sexual life, which led to cervical erosion. Now, I feel very painful every day and it's not good. I want to do and ask the doctor if traditional Chinese medicine treatment for cervical erosion is effective?

Doctor's answer:

Cervical erosion is not a disease of reading, but rather a severe manifestation of chronic cervical inflammation. Cervical erosion does not actually have true erosion. When the shedding of the epithelial cells at the external os of the cervix is replaced by another type of epithelial tissue, the newly formed epithelium is thin, even delicate. The underlying blood vessels and red tissue can be seen, appearing as if there is significant erosion, hence the term "cervical erosion."
In most cases, columnar epithelium is located within the cervical canal and is not visible to the naked eye. Under the influence of estrogen, such as during puberty, the volume of the cervix rapidly increases and becomes significantly smaller than the uterine body, exposing the columnar epithelium at the external os of the cervix. This is not true "erosion," but rather a normal "stress" response that occurs when hormones surge in a woman's body.
