How to recover from cervical inflammation

Patient's question:

I'm usually quite hygienic, but a few weeks ago, I had an itchy vagina. Is it because my husband has a bit of foreskin? Why didn't it happen before, but now it does? How do you recover from cervical inflammation?

Doctor's answer:

The clinical manifestations of cervical inflammation are an increase in vaginal discharge. Acute cervical inflammation presents with purulent vaginal discharge, accompanied by lower abdominal and lumbosacral pain, or urinary symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, and dysuria. Chronic cervical inflammation, on the other hand, is characterized by creamy, viscous discharge or yellowish-purulent discharge. In cases of severe cervical erosion or cervical polyps, the discharge may be bloody or may cause tearing during sexual intercourse. It is not advisable to take anti-inflammatory drugs for a long period, as this can lead to drug resistance and dysbiosis, potentially causing more severe infections. It is recommended to adopt a combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatments, which will not cause drug resistance and yield better therapeutic effects.
