Since the 1990s, rapid advancements in information technology and increased societal demand have led to significant changes in the application of satellite communication. The development of wide-area personal mobile communication, the growing demand for global seamless coverage, the emergence of the internet, the development of broadband multimedia communication and multicast technologies, the efficient utilization of radio frequency resources, and the heightened requirements for communication service quality have all driven many innovations and advancements in satellite signal transmission, processing, and multiple access technologies.
