Features: A market economy is a rule of law economy. To adapt to the new demands of the market economy in the 21st century and to meet the challenges of "accession to the WTO," we have strived to cultivate high-quality legal professionals. In accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education for the establishment of legal courses in ordinary universities, we organized teachers from more than ten universities to write this series of textbooks for use by undergraduate and junior college students majoring in law. This textbook has the following characteristics:
1. Reflects new achievements in the development of legal theory and new situations in legislation and law enforcement. This series of textbooks strives to absorb new achievements and cutting-edge theoretical perspectives in legal research, adopting newly promulgated laws and regulations, especially those issued or revised in China after joining the WTO.
2. Emphasizes the scientificity of the layout. As an integrated series, we paid attention to both the scientific and logical structure within each book and the cross-disciplinary connections between subjects, avoiding repetition and omissions.
3. Focuses on foundational textbooks and reasonably controls the difficulty level of the content. This series of textbooks is designed to meet the depth and breadth requirements of undergraduate legal education and the National Unified Judicial Examination, balancing academic foresight with the fundamental framework, basic knowledge, and core theories of law, aiming to make the content easily comprehensible and meet the expected standards for undergraduates.
4. Concise, practical, and easy to understand. Tailored to the characteristics of undergraduate students and the course schedules, this textbook is designed to be brief and to the point, emphasizing practicality, adhering to writing norms, and using clear and accessible language to facilitate self-study.
