Features: Entering the 21st century, the setup of legal professional positions in China has become increasingly scientific and rational. The legal education system, which integrates the coexistence and coordinated development of legal discipline education and higher vocational legal education established through reform and restructuring, has gradually been perfected. Higher vocational legal education has formed a certain scale across the country. To strengthen the guidance of higher vocational legal education and further promote its smooth development, the Ministry of Justice has organized some experts and scholars to compile this series of national higher vocational legal education textbooks for use by relevant institutions.
This series of textbooks, in line with the Ministry of Education's requirement that "higher vocational education should differ from disciplinary education, exhibit greater professionalism, practicality, and job-specificity, and focus more on the effective dissemination of knowledge," follows the principles of practicality and guidance. While strengthening basic knowledge and theoretical education and highlighting the cultivation of professional abilities and skills, the curriculum structure has been reorganized, teaching content updated, and the distinctive features of higher vocational legal education emphasized. It aims to help students flexibly apply knowledge and improve their ability to perform their duties, striving to become a textbook that cultivates applied legal talents for legal practice departments such as courts, procuratorates, and law firms.
