Features: The "National Legal Psychology Academic Conference" was jointly organized by the Legal Psychology Committee of the Chinese Psychological Society and the Correctional Psychology Committee of the Chinese Criminology Society. It was held in Changsha, Hunan, from May 21 to 24, 2001. A total of 124 representatives attended the conference, and 90 papers were submitted. Many of the papers were of high quality, innovative in perspective, and demonstrated a spirit of creativity and exploration. They included both theoretical concepts and practical summaries; both reviews of the history of legal psychology research and evaluations of the current state, as well as visions for the future.
