Features: Thanks to the readers' support, "Intermediate Textbook for Mathematical Olympiad" (3rd Edition) (abbreviated as "Intermediate Textbook") has been in print for over two years, with each volume being reprinted seven or eight times, and the total sales reaching nearly 200,000 copies. Achieving such success among numerous "Math Olympiad" books is indeed remarkable. The reason lies in its writing principles: "Based on the textbook, exceeding the textbook, strictly synchronized with in-class materials, easy to understand, both popular and accessible, yet meeting the basic knowledge requirements of various mathematical competitions." Of course, it is also related to the fact that it is accompanied by a rich set of A and B practice exercises closely matched to the main content for readers to choose from. When writing the solutions for this set of practice exercises, we followed the principle that the solutions for each lesson's exercises are closely tied to the content and examples of that lesson, without advancing basic knowledge prematurely. The solutions are chosen to be as simple as possible, making them easy to understand and accept. We provide diverse solutions to allow readers to grasp the material from different perspectives. The level of detail is appropriately balanced, ensuring that readers can read it smoothly without feeling overly complicated. In the first and second grade volumes of junior high school, a set of "Self-Assessment Tests" for the upper and lower semesters has been newly added (with answers included). At the end of the third-grade volume, four sets of junior high school mathematical competition questions (two sets each from the 2001 Sichuan Provincial and National League) have been newly added (with answers included) for readers to self-assess their learning progress.
