Features: This book is divided into three main parts: Part I - Vocabulary; Part II - Cloze; Part III - Comprehensive Proofreading.
Part I - Vocabulary: Through simulated training of 30 questions in the vocabulary section of the CET-6 exam, this part aims to help candidates memorize CET-6 outline vocabulary in different linguistic contexts. While preparing for CET-6 vocabulary, it also lays a solid foundation for English vocabulary, thereby promoting improvements in other English skills such as listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This part is arranged over 30 days in a step-by-step manner. Of course, candidates can also adjust it flexibly based on their own situations.
Part II - Cloze: This part provides 30 days of training for candidates. Both Cloze and Comprehensive Proofreading assess students' text comprehension abilities. However, compared to Comprehensive Proofreading, Cloze has longer passages and a larger number of questions, in addition to the same selection approach. Therefore, the intensity of this part's exercises is increased. Through targeted training in this part, students can further enhance their practical and applied abilities in vocabulary and grammar.
Part III - Comprehensive Proofreading: This part follows the format of Part I, including 30 passages, each with 10 questions. The length and question types fully meet the basic requirements of the CET-6 proofreading section. This part focuses on examining and training students' ability to apply their vocabulary and grammar knowledge in a contextualized manner. Through targeted exercises in this part, students can further improve their text comprehension skills and refine their overall language proficiency. The selected passages are rich, novel, and of moderate difficulty, making them beneficial for students to familiarize themselves with different linguistic contexts.
