Features: The guiding principle for compiling this Hausa language textbook is to continue teaching Hausa grammar while selecting lessons that fully reflect the history, culture, and characteristics of the target country. This helps students expand their knowledge while learning language phenomena. Language is a carrier of culture. Only by thoroughly understanding the history, culture, and social conditions of a country can we better grasp its language. The Hausa people, as one of Africa's oldest ethnic groups, have unique social and cultural aspects. Their logical thinking and emotional expression not only differ greatly from Europeans but also markedly from other Easterners. Through lessons on various topics, we aim to help students gain as much knowledge as possible about these aspects. Hausa is relatively easy to learn in terms of phonetics, but its morphology is quite complex. Therefore, we have included numerous annotations in the lessons. The exercises are closely tied to the lesson content. If students can complete the exercises smoothly and correctly, it proves they have mastered the lesson material. This textbook has still been reviewed by Shehu Balarababan, a Nigerian Hausa language expert working at China International Radio. We sincerely thank him for his assistance.
