Features: Mathematics is a core subject in the junior high school stage and should naturally become the main battlefield for psychological education. In mathematics teaching, it is the ultimate goal of mathematical psychological education to help students eliminate psychological issues, develop a sound personality, showcase their individuality, cultivate their temperament, develop their thinking, and stimulate their potential and creativity. This aligns well with the current ongoing round of curriculum reform. To a certain extent, mathematical psychological education is the specific embodiment of the new mathematics curriculum reform. Of course, this depends on the improvement of teachers' psychological education capabilities. The provincial key project, "Promoting the Experimental Research on Cultivating the Psychological Education Capabilities of Primary and Secondary School Teachers," has achieved phased results in the primary school stage. Starting from 2001, the research project was extended to the junior high school level. To summarize the research findings and better guide teachers in integrating psychological education into mathematics teaching, the research team decided to edit and publish the book "The Art of Mathematical Psychological Education in Junior High School." The most prominent feature of this book lies in its combination of theory and practice, proposing and addressing the difficult issues teachers encounter in the process of mathematical psychological education, thereby truly enhancing teachers' psychological education capabilities.
