Features: The clothing culture of our country has a long history. However, it was only in the past few decades that fashion design truly became a discipline. Although fashion design has developed rapidly in these decades, more and more higher and secondary institutions have offered courses in this field. Nevertheless, from the perspective of the discipline's foundational basis, social environment, the level and mindset of teachers and students, etc., the teaching of fashion design has yet to fully mature. This book adopts the theoretical perspectives of art history and aesthetics, striving to scientifically summarize and generalize the relevant concepts and artistic characteristics of fashion design. It reflects on contemporary Chinese fashion design education and proposes a constructive curriculum theoretical system for the reform of fashion education.
