The internet connects you and me on the battlefield, and it connects the poles of the Earth! A computer, a modem, and a phone line—what are they? That's the weapon. With it, you can launch a cyber attack, and with it, you can destroy your command center! In this space, there are no front lines, no borders, no gunshots, no bloodshed. You don't know where the enemy is, you don't know where they're attacking from, you can't tell soldiers from civilians, and you don't know if a "virus" has already infiltrated. This is cyber warfare in the information age! This is a new type of warfare we haven't encountered yet! The true test has not yet come! Some things may still be unclear, so we invite you to experience "your own feelings" through this book!
This book aims to provide a sensory understanding of cyber warfare in the information age for the People's Liberation Army personnel and young readers passionate about national defense, through vivid descriptions of cyber confrontation actions that have already occurred in the field of computer networks. Additionally, by generalizing the methods of cyber warfare, it helps readers develop basic rational awareness on a sensory foundation, inspiring interest and enthusiasm for the future of the internet.
