Patient's question:
Recently, I've been experiencing lower back and sacral pain, and difficulty urinating. There has been an increase in yellow discharge, along with itching and pain in the external genital area. After a thorough laparoscopic examination, it was found to be severe cervical erosion. Can cervical erosion be treated with medication? I want to recover quickly and have a second child with my husband.Doctor's answer:
The treatment for cervical erosion has two methods. One is that for 1-degree and 2-degree cervical erosion, this condition is generally treated through medication. As for 3-degree cervical erosion, which is severe cervical erosion, this is usually treated with a LEEP (Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure) surgery. This is because the area of erosion is already quite large, and medication alone is not as effective.
