Wordless ballad

Features: The helplessness and frustration of wandering through officialdom, the difficulties and sorrows of struggling for justice, a "maintaining officer" without a legitimate status. Only because of his remaining integrity and straightforward personality, he sinks rather than rises in the official world. From the respected Secretary Zhou to the awkwardly positioned Director Zhou, and finally to an ordinary civilian who arranges marriages, takes care of children, and supports the elderly. Through countless trials and diverse experiences, "rural official and writer" Liu Xinming composes this unwritten ballad of a grassroots civil affairs officer dedicated to serving the people with his whole heart.
