Famous Middle-aged Linguist's Self-selected Collection. Li Jiahao Volume

Author: Li Jiahao
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2002-12-01
Features: The successful compilation and publication of this "Selected Works" series are first and foremost attributed to the 16 senior and renowned linguists who served as academic advisors for the series. Their meticulous guidance and strong support for the editorial work reflect the passion of the older generation of linguists in nurturing middle-aged linguists and their dedication to the cause of Chinese linguistics. We would also like to extend special thanks to Professor Jiang Lansheng, Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and one of the authors of the "Selected Works," for his contributions to the editorial work of the series. Professor Jiang provided concrete guidance and assistance to the editorial team in various aspects, from the planning and justification of topics to the determination of editorial formats and the review of manuscripts. In fact, at the beginning of the editorial process for the series, Professor Jiang participated in the specific work of the editorial team in the capacity of the chief editor. It was only later, upon learning that he had been recommended by the academic advisors as one of the authors of the "Selected Works," that he repeatedly requested to step down from his position as chief editor. After careful consideration, the editorial team decided to respect Professor Jiang's wishes.
