Features: Fang Xiaoru (1357-1402), styled Xizhi, also known as Xigu, was known as the Master of Rectification. He was from Ninghai, Zhejiang, and a disciple of Song Lian. In the early years of the Hongwu era, he served as a professor in Hanzhong Prefecture; in the early years of the Jianwen era, he became a Hanlin Academician. Later, he was brutally executed for refusing to draft the accession edict for the Ming Chengzu Emperor, and his entire clan was annihilated. Over 800 members of his family perished.
