In winter 1982, the compilers of this book accepted the (commission) of the distinguished elderly physician Zou Heyuyu from Xibei, who entrusted them to organize, proofread, and select from his long-preserved "Manuscript of Ding Ganren's Medical Cases." From thousands of cases, they chose those not included in the previous book, curated the essential ones, and categorized them, naming it "Continuation of Ding Ganren's Medical Cases." They supplemented the earlier book, creating a harmonious combination that embodies the academic principles of the predecessors and serves as a helpful guide for clinical practice.
