Features: Gao Ye, also known as Gao Yeyun, is a female artist born in 1947 in Qingtan, Zhejiang. She graduated from Zhejiang Vocational Art College and the Professional Certificate Program at the China Academy of Art. In her early years, she studied silk string music before turning to painting, specializing in orchids and bamboo, under the guidance of renowned masters such as Lu Kunfeng and Wu Shanming. Her works, including Ink Bamboo and The Purity of Heaven and Earth, have been published by Shanghai Fine Arts Publishing House, Xiling Seal Society Publishing House, and Zhejiang People's Fine Arts Publishing House. Her Orchids and Bamboo quadruple screen was selected for the "1996 Fourth World Women's Congress Exhibition of 100 Outstanding Women Painters" hosted by the Ministry of Culture at the National Art Museum of China. In 1994, she published a personal art album. Her works have won numerous awards at provincial and municipal levels, and she has held both solo and joint exhibitions. In early 2003, she held a solo exhibition in Hangzhou, which received positive reviews. In 2003, Shanghai Sanlian Bookstore published The Series of Chinese Fine Arts——Gao Ye's Paintings. She is currently a member of the Zhejiang Fine Arts Association, the Zhejiang Flower and Bird Painters Association, the Vice President of the Zhejiang Women Flower and Bird Painters Association, a member of the China Music, employed by the China Academy of Art, a special appointed painter at the Xiling Fine Arts Institute, and a member of the Poetry, Calligraphy, and Painting Friendship Society of the Zhejiang People's Political Consultative Conference.
