Features: The teaching philosophy and practice of our landscape painting course are based on inheriting the landscape painting teaching tradition pioneered by my teacher, Mr. Li Keran, and combining it with my personal understanding, as well as my decades of teaching and creative practice experience. This has led to some connections and developments. Now, my graduate students Wu Jian and Bai Liansheng have compiled this material, aiming to present it as accurately as possible to the public. We hope to gather widespread feedback so that it can be applied effectively in teaching practice. This book primarily summarizes the rich experience of Professor Jia Youfu in landscape painting teaching, supplemented by numerous works from teachers and students, as well as copies for explanation. The main chapters include: teaching content and implementation methods for copywork classes, step-by-step techniques for copywork, on the concept of freehand copying, the proper handling of the relationship between direct copying and reverse copying, teaching content and implementation methods for sketching classes, key points to note in landscape sketching, practical guidance for sketching, teaching content and implementation methods for creation, cultivation of creative awareness, issues to pay attention to in assignments, and Q&A about landscape painting creation, among others.
