Features: Many books end up in the trash heap; a quick glance is enough to discard them. Some books find their place in bookshelves, where the knowledge can be accessed. Others reside in the reader's soul. This book is one of the latter—it is printed there, transformed there, and shines there. In the journey of life, if one wishes to live with greater clarity and beauty, they should read this book.
I had heard that the Rodin Studio would be converted into a museum, and I thought it had already officially opened. Today, I arrived in the Montparnasse area and saw that the construction was nearing completion, but it was still a construction site with workers operating everywhere. I also met Madame Rodin inspecting the progress of the project. After Rodin's passing (1929), she tirelessly campaigned for the establishment of the Rodin Museum, and now it has finally been realized. She is originally from Greece and was once a student of Rodin—a petite, formidable, and kind elderly woman.
I wandered around the courtyard, admiring the sculptures. Various-sized bronze statues were scattered haphazardly, including The Dying Horseman, Joan of Arc, Hatred (a relief composed of three portraits), To My Master Rodin, Strength, and Liberty.
