Features: Over 3,000 posters were designed by Gunter Ramms during his 30-year career, each poster telling a story behind it. His design portfolio is not just the completion of commissioned design tasks, but also a vivid personal autobiography. In the early 1960s, he completed his studies at the University of Arts in Kassel, during which time he had already made a choice between reform and conservatism, between colorful aestheticism and functionalism. Influenced by his teachers, he preferred the latter, i.e., formal and functionalism. After careful consideration, he chose black and white as his primary colors. Later, he also adopted photographic techniques in his posters, which was a very wise decision. Ramms embraced the challenges of his time. He served as the art director of an advertising agency for many years, handling advertising for products and services, accumulating extensive experience and improving his work efficiency during this period. During this time, he also established his own photography studio. Subsequently, he avoided commercial promotional activities and devoted himself to the realms of literature, theater, and music.
