Li Jiye's literary works and translations have gained a wide readership both domestically and internationally and have received high praise. The "Collected Works of Li Jiye" includes all of his works, totaling over 4 million words in nine volumes. The first three volumes contain Li Jiye's essays, travelogues, poems, and novels, such as "Nostalgia and Guorui," "To the Youth," "The Warmth Collection," "The Pre-March Collection," "Italian Travel Notes," and the "Introduction to Tang and Song Poetry," among others. His essays are well-researched, fresh in style, meticulous in language, and clear in stance, while his poems are broad-minded, full of passion, and in step with the times. His research on Lu Xun has provided valuable historical materials for Lu Xun studies in China. Volumes four to eight include Li Jiye's translations over the past seventy years. His translations have always centered on progressive revolutionary literature, remaining faithful to the original works. His translation of "Jane Eyre" was praised by literary masters such as Lu Xun, Mao Dun, and Hu Shih, and he was honored alongside the renowned older generation of translators like Ba Jin and Bing Xin with the Chinese "Rainbow Translation Award." The ninth volume includes his correspondence and a chronology of his published translations.
