Features: "Tangtou," the colloquial term for formulas, is an important component of traditional Chinese medicine. Learning and memorizing Tangtou is one of the essential basic skills for clinical practice in TCM. To this end, we have compiled "Illustrated and Fun Memory of Tangtou" to achieve the goal of rapid memorization of Tangtou.
1. This book is based on the "Formulas" textbook for higher TCM colleges and universities nationwide, selecting 162 commonly used basic Tangtou in 18 chapters (specialized Tangtou are included in a separate volume).
2. Each Tangtou is compiled according to ten categories: "Origin, Fun Memory, Plot, Tang Song, Composition, Usage, Efficacy, Application, Precautions, and Tang Table," accompanied by an illustration for explanation.
(1) Origin: Indicates the source of the Tangtou, the author, and the era. The sources of Tangtou are referenced from the "Dictionary of Traditional Chinese Medicine" (Formulas Volume).
(2) Fun Memory: Takes one character (or its homophone) from the name of the Tangtou and its constituent herbs to form an interesting and memorable statement, facilitating associative memory.
