Features: The implementation of nine-year compulsory education and the weekend system in our country has provided children with time and space to develop actively. How to give children with academic strengths better math learning and development? This is a hot topic of concern for parents, teachers, and society. In 1994, when I talked with Professor Oharen, the president of the World Association of National Mathematical Competitions in Bulgaria, we had a consensus: stimulating interest in math learning, guiding learning methods, and cultivating thinking ability are key aspects of math education. Based on this, the primary school math supplementary reading materials I edited always reflect the views that "interest is the source of motivation for good learning" and "thinking is the core of intelligence and ability." Exercises and Solutions is a problem-solving tool for math extracurricular schools and primary school students. It includes self-test questions for students, allowing them to improve their problem-solving skills through learning, achieve self-study, self-assessment, and self-evaluation. It is hoped that the publication of this toolbook can inspire math educators to further explore and research topics such as how to select and create questions suitable for students' levels, how to guide students in choosing appropriate problem-solving strategies, and how to organically combine knowledge learning with problem-solving.
