Features: This exquisite series of books compiles all current World War II materials for re-publication, becoming the most comprehensive and vivid publication in history to document World War II. "The Illustrated History of World War II" Volume 5 includes issues 101 to 130, covering the period from mid-July 1941 to early June 1942. To some extent, this is the most dramatic and rapidly changing period that World War II has experienced so far. With Japan's treacherous entry into the war, the United States fully stood on the democratic side opposing all aggression and oppression and decided to mobilize all industrial strength, capital wealth, weapons, and manpower to fight for this cause; for the same goal, Latin American republics united without exception, forming what can appropriately be called a "second world war." This war was destined to be unprecedented. The content of these pages also provides evidence of the period we have experienced. Due to the restriction on pulp imports, paper became scarce, which greatly changed the form of the British printing industry. The reason we were able to maintain the weekly release of the first four volumes was the cost of periodically and massively reducing circulation within the allowed limits. But soon we had to limit the circulation to three times a month, and inevitably, we had to make significant changes, reducing the frequency to once every two weeks. All these changes are reflected in Volume 5. However, whether in terms of visual effect or content interest, this volume has only improved. Therefore, we hope it remains the only pictorial record of this thrilling chapter in world history.
