Features: This manual is themed around the family and aims to promote health, with the goal of disseminating knowledge and improving health standards in the new century. In addition to introducing the diagnosis, treatment, and care of legally reported sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), we also provide detailed information on trichomoniasis, pubic lice, genital candidiasis, and bacterial vaginosis, which are closely related to sexual transmission. These diseases are classified as STDs abroad, though they are not currently listed as such in China. However, due to their transmission routes and the severity of their impact on health, they warrant our high attention. Under the theme of the family, we elaborate on self-discovery and prevention of STDs, consultation and health education on STDs, as well as household disinfection and prevention measures. We hope that the publication of this manual will help improve the level of STD prevention and control among grassroots medical workers in China, enhance public self-protection awareness, thereby improving overall health standards, and contribute to the nation's STD prevention and control efforts.
