To promote the development of sound engineer vocational training and skill certification, and to implement the national vocational qualification certification system among sound engineer practitioners, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, China Employment Training and Technical Guidance Center, after completing the formulation of the "National Vocational Standard—Sound Engineer" (hereinafter referred to as "the Standard"), organized experts who participated in the writing and review of "the Standard" and other relevant experts to compile the "National Vocational Qualification Training Course—Sound Engineer" (hereinafter referred to as "the Course"). The Course closely aligns with "the Standard" and, in terms of content, strives to embody the guiding principle of "orienting toward occupational activities and focusing on vocational skills," highlighting the characteristics of vocational training. Structurally, it is organized in a modular manner, divided into five levels: Primary, Intermediate, Advanced, Technician, and Senior Technician, based on the domains of the sound engineer's occupational activities. The basic knowledge section of the Course covers the "Basic Requirements" of "the Standard"; the skill sections correspond to the "Occupational Functions" of "the Standard," with subsections corresponding to the "Work Content," and the content within subsections aligns with the "Skill Requirements" and "Related Knowledge" of "the Standard." The "National Vocational Qualification Training Course—Sound Engineer (Primary Skills, Intermediate Skills, Advanced Skills)" is suitable for training primary, intermediate, and advanced sound engineers and is the designated supplementary textbook for vocational skill certifications.
