Features: The Labor Law of the People's Republic of China explicitly stipulates that the state shall formulate occupational skill assessment standards for designated occupations and implement a system of occupational qualification certificates. Government-approved assessment institutions are responsible for implementing occupational skill assessments for workers. Since 1994, the Occupational Skill Assessment Center of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the Teaching and Research Office of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, and China Labor and Social Security Press have organized experts, technical personnel, and occupational training teaching management personnel to carry out textbook development, writing and publishing "Occupational Skill Assessment Textbooks" (hereinafter referred to as "Textbooks") and "Occupational Skill Assessment Guides" (hereinafter referred to as "Guides") covering nearly 80 common occupations (trades) in key industries such as machinery, electronics, transportation, construction, commerce, agriculture, and the catering service industry in the national economy. These have played a positive role in promoting occupational skill assessment work and improving the quality of occupational skill training. In 2000, the state implemented a system requiring employment in designated occupations (trades) with occupational qualification certificates, and successively promulgated the "National Occupational Standards" (hereinafter referred to as "Standards"). To meet the urgent demand of workers to obtain occupational qualification certificates, the Teaching and Research Office of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and China Labor and Social Security Press, based on the experience of writing previous "Textbooks" and "Guides," have organized the writing of "Textbooks" and "Guides" for the logistics professional. The "Textbooks" are based on the corresponding "Standards" and strive to reflect the guiding principle of "focusing on occupational skills and oriented toward occupational activities," adhering to the principle of "what is tested, what is compiled." Structurally, they adopt a modular approach, written according to occupational levels (Assistant Logistics Professional, Logistics Professional, Senior Logistics Professional). Each learning unit corresponds to one occupational function in the "Standards" and includes both professional knowledge and operational skills. While ensuring the coherence of knowledge, they aim to be concise and focused, highlighting relevance, typicality, and practicality. The "Guides" include key learning points, knowledge questions, skill questions, and reference answers, along with knowledge and skill assessment simulation papers, serving as a supplement and refinement to the "Textbooks" and a bridge between training and assessment. Both the "Textbooks" and "Guides" are based on the application conditions stipulated in the "Standards," helping those preparing for assessments to understand the scope and content of the assessments. They are suitable for pre-exam intensive training organized by various assessment institutions and training centers, as well as for self-study by individuals applying for skill assessments. They also hold significant reference value for teachers and students of vocational and technical schools, as well as technical personnel in related industries. This book is edited by Shi Lin, with chapters 1 and 2 written by Wang Jianchang (Southwest Branch of China International Air & Space Development Co., Ltd.), chapters 3 and 9 written by Chen Jun (Chengdu Transportation School), chapters 4 and 10 written by Qi Zhiya (Sichuan Elite Salesperson Training School), chapters 5, 6, 7, and 8 written by Zhang Shuping (Sichuan Hongsheng International Logistics Co., Ltd.), chapters 11, 12, and 13 written by Shi Lin (Chengdu Transportation School), and chapter 14 written by Li Dingxue (Chengdu University of Information Technology). The book was reviewed by Liang Hongxiu, He Xinggui, Jin Shubin (Chengdu University of Information Technology), Wang Qibo (Sichuan Hejia College), and He Yonghong (Sichuan Vocational Skill Assessment Guidance Center).
The writing of the "Textbooks" and "Guides" involved considerable difficulty and was an exploratory effort. Due to the urgency of time and lack of experience, shortcomings are inevitable. We sincerely welcome valuable suggestions and opinions from all users and individuals.
