Features: The Labor Law of the People's Republic of China explicitly stipulates that the state shall formulate occupational skill assessment standards for designated occupations and implement a vocational qualification certificate system. Assessment and certification institutions approved by the government are responsible for conducting skill assessments for workers. Since 1994, the Center for Vocational Skill Assessment of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the Teaching Materials Office of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, and China Labor and Social Security Press have organized experts, technicians, and vocational training teaching management personnel to implement teaching material development, writing and publishing Vocational Skill Assessment Teaching Materials (hereinafter referred to as Teaching Materials) and Vocational Skill Assessment Guidance (hereinafter referred to as Guidance) covering nearly 80 common occupations (trades) in key industries such as machinery, electronics, transportation, construction, commerce, agriculture, and the food service industry in the national economy. These have played a positive role in promoting vocational skill assessment and improving the quality of vocational skill training. In 2000, the state implemented a system requiring workers to hold vocational qualification certificates to secure employment in designated occupations (trades) and successively issued the National Occupational Standards (hereinafter referred to as Standards). To meet the urgent demand of workers for obtaining vocational qualification certificates, the Teaching Materials Office of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and China Labor and Social Security Press, based on the experience of writing previous Teaching Materials and Guidance, have organized the writing of Teaching Materials and Guidance for the logistics professional. The Teaching Materials are based on the corresponding Standards, striving to embody the guiding principle of "focusing on vocational skills and orienting toward occupational activities," adhering to the principle of "teaching what will be tested." Structurally, they adopt a modular approach, written according to occupational levels (Assistant Logistics Professional, Logistics Professional, Senior Logistics Professional). Each learning unit corresponds to one occupational function in the Standards and includes both professional knowledge and operational skills. While ensuring the coherence of knowledge, they aim to be concise and focused, highlighting relevance, typicality, and practicality. The Guidance includes key learning points, knowledge questions, skill questions, and reference answers, along with simulated knowledge and skill assessment papers, serving as a supplement and refinement to the Teaching Materials and a bridge between training and assessment. Both the Teaching Materials and the Guidance start from the application requirements stipulated in the Standards, helping candidates preparing for assessments to grasp the scope and content of the assessment. They are suitable for pre-assessment intensive training organized by various assessment institutions and training centers, as well as for self-study by individuals applying for skill assessments. They also hold significant reference value for teachers and students of vocational and technical schools, as well as for technical personnel in relevant industries.
