Features: This volume commemorates the 100th anniversary of Mr. Yoshida Hideo's birth as part of the "Asia Project," researchers to conduct a three-year study on the topic "The Current State and Future of Chinese Advertising." The outstanding essays included here are published as annual research outcomes. I firmly believe that these findings will serve as valuable references not only for Chinese researchers but also for many others. I look forward to more significant achievements from the next two years of research. Today, China's radio and television media have undergone earth-shaking changes. Terms like industrialization and corporatization have sparked widespread discussion. However, a brief review reveals that this is merely a phenomenon of the past two decades since the reform and opening-up. Although China's radio and television media have always functioned as the Party's publicity tool, they have actually undergone various transformations due to changes in management. After experiencing the highs of the initial chaotic period, the stabilization in the middle phase of reform, and the bottlenecks before media transformation, China's radio and television media have evolved from a single "megaphone" into having two faces during the entire reform process.
