Features: This collection includes some accordion solo pieces I have composed since 1983. Among the published works, I have selected those that are relatively well-received and frequently used by teachers and students. I have also made detailed corrections and minor adjustments in some places to make the scores more convenient and easier to play. Several large-scale works, including Nanqing Qing and three sonatas, although they have been seen and heard by many, were officially published only with this collection. They differ slightly from the existing versions. Free bass accordion is the direction of accordion development, which greatly expands its expressive range and, to some extent, can rival the piano and organ. Therefore, when selecting pieces, this development trend was taken into consideration to better utilize the capabilities of the free bass. However, due to factors such as price, manufacturing, and teaching resources, free bass accordions could not be widely promoted in China for a considerable period of time. To accommodate the needs of most traditional bass accordion players, I adopted a three-line notation system in some key sections: the first line is the shared right-hand part, the second line is the free bass notation (traditional bass can also be used for those with stronger playing abilities), and the third line is specifically for reference by traditional bass accordion players. Some free bass combinations and unisons are marked with additional and unison symbols.
