Features: As a part of China's higher education system, the self-study examination has achieved remarkable results. With the continuous progress of Chinese society and economy, the demand for legal professionals has gradually increased. In recent years, the number of self-study examinees has set new records, as more and more people choose this unique Chinese path to success. Therefore, it is our responsibility to compile supplementary guidebooks that highlight the characteristics of self-study and align with the actual needs of the examination.
The self-study examination is an assessment of proficiency. The syllabus and textbooks are the basis for setting questions, but it does not mean that the exam questions are word-for-word based on the syllabus and textbooks. Instead, when setting questions, the overall objectives of the course are taken as a reference to comprehensively assess the knowledge content and ability requirements of the course. For examinees who primarily rely on self-study, the key to success lies in their ability to transition from grasping knowledge to developing skills during their studies. Helping candidates complete this transition and smoothly pass the exam is our purpose in writing this book.
This book consists of two parts: Part I: Exam Guide. Based on the syllabus and textbooks, this part emphasizes the overall grasp of the knowledge framework and points out review patterns according to the characteristics of self-study. It strictly adheres to the requirements of various question types on the exam paper and explains techniques. Part II: Key Points and Self-Test Questions and Solutions. Following the syllabus and textbooks, this part further reinforces the key points chapter by chapter and carefully designs exercises accordingly. Knowledge is the carrier of ability. By integrating knowledge and ability through exercises, candidates can not only comprehensively and systematically master knowledge and make it more flexible but also identify gaps and weaknesses, focus on key areas, and ultimately improve their abilities.
This book is organized by an authoritative institution and written by self-study examination experts, who are either the main compilers or key participants of the syllabus and textbooks, or long-term invigilators at the main examining institutions, with rich practical experience. They are also familiar with the common problems faced by candidates, allowing them to target their needs effectively. This book is authoritative and accurate, with strong relevance. It is edited by Professor Jin Ruilin, Chairman of the National Higher Education Self-Study Examination Law Committee, and Professor Rao Geping, Secretary-General of the Law Committee, as the chief editors.
