Features: With the deepening of judicial system reform, the publication of court judgments has been included in the work agenda of courts as one of the contents of judicial openness. This measure helps improve the quality of judgment documents, facilitates public access and supervision, and has positive significance for improving legislation, refining law enforcement, and advancing legal teaching and research. As a bridge between courts and readers, we have cooperated with courts across various regions to edit and publish the serial publication Selected Judgments of People's Courts. This series is edited by the higher people's courts of provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government and is published in chronological order. Starting from 2000, one to two volumes are published each year, divided by province, autonomous region, or municipality directly under the Central Government. The series includes judgment documents, ruling documents, and mediation documents drafted by higher courts and selected intermediate or primary courts. The selected cases are relatively typical or have certain difficulties in judgment. The case descriptions are clear and concise, and the opinions of the prosecution, defense, and court are analytical, thorough, and rational, demonstrating strong persuasiveness and enlightenment. The facts and legal applications by the judicial authorities are relatively accurate and provide guidance. The editorial format of the series is as follows: 1. Judgment documents are divided into criminal, civil (including economic, intellectual property, etc.), administrative, and state compensation categories. Each category is further divided into several subcategories: criminal cases are arranged according to the order of the Criminal Code of the People's Republic of China; civil cases are arranged according to the classification order of the Provisional Regulations on the Classification of Civil Cases issued by the Supreme People's Court in October 2000; administrative cases are arranged by department while considering content; and state compensation cases are divided into administrative compensation and judicial compensation. 2. Within the same category of cases, ruling documents are listed before judgment documents, and they are arranged in chronological order. 3. For the same case, judgment documents from higher courts are listed before those from lower courts.
