[Thematic Paper · Analysis] "Some Legal Considerations on Establishing a Polluter's Right Trading System in China" draws on the experience of developed Western countries and combines with China's specific conditions to analyze the necessity and feasibility of establishing a polluter's right trading system in China. It specifically explores several legal issues in constructing a polluter's right trading system in the country. The major feature of this issue of the legal review is the emphasis on reviews, specifically the reviews of the papers in the review. We believe this is entirely appropriate. While writing legal papers is undoubtedly challenging, once they are published, without the critical engagement and rigorous debate that reviews provide, or even genuine academic criticism, the papers may well be forgotten. There are now many book reviews, with countless paths to choose from, and even in formal journals and books, reviews are abundant. However, there are far too few reviews of papers, as if papers are less important than brick-and-mortar works. Yet, as everyone knows, the significance of papers is paramount, especially since contemporary works are often collections of papers, designed for the secondary circulation of opportunity costs. Should we correct this phenomenon? Naturally, we do not dare to hope that papers with reviews will be remembered by readers, or that reviews of papers will be appreciated by readers. But we do hope and believe that the dialogue between papers and reviews, as well as the intellectual collisions within them, will, at some point in the future, bring readers recollections. The charm of dialogue and collision should be enduring.
