Features: When you step into Guangzhou, you will first notice that it is a world of flowers. Every spring, the city is ablaze with crimson Bauhinia and purple crape myrtle in full bloom; in summer, thousands of Flame trees dazzle like a tapestry of clouds; in autumn, golden chrysanthemums cover the city in a sea of yellow; and in winter, the banks of Liu Xi River miraculously display mountains of crimson leaves and fields of plum blossoms like snow. No matter how harsh the winter is elsewhere in the world, Guangzhou remains a city of blooming flowers, "preserving a corner of spring." Those clusters of pink, yellow, and white drifting from every balcony and courtyard wall, unintentionally, have formed an "imprint of Guangzhou" that has remained unchanged for three thousand years.
