Features: This book compiles 13 national metrology technical specifications on terminology that were approved and valid as of June 2001. Among them, the appendix of JJF 1010-1987 "Length Metrology Terms and Definitions" is not included because it has been replaced by JJF 1001-1998. Some national metrology technical specifications on terminology are scheduled to be obsolete in the near future and are not included either. Please note that readers should be aware of the replacements of newly promulgated specifications and the current valid versions of cited references when using this book. During the editing process of this book, we have reviewed the included specifications again and corrected the omissions in the original publication. In some cases, we have also added explanatory text where necessary. Despite these efforts, some omissions may still exist in the published book. We welcome readers' comments and corrections. This book compiles 13 national metrology technical specifications on terminology that were approved and valid as of June 2001, including "Metrology Terms and Definitions" and "Length Metrology Terms and Definitions."
