Features: This book is compiled based on the teaching plan requirements for Chemical Engineering and Technology programs in the 21st century by the Beijing University of Chemical Technology and Beijing Union University, in collaboration. It is designed as a textbook for the "Chemical Reaction Engineering" course, with a recommended teaching hours of 50-60. The purpose is to adapt to the needs of teaching reform, emphasizing "solid foundation and broad specialization" as well as reduced teaching hours. The book strives to achieve the following characteristics: ① Accurate and clear basic concepts, thorough analysis of fundamental principles, and practical application of basic methods to achieve a concise and foundational style; ② Comprehensive and representative examples and exercises to help readers understand and absorb the content of chemical reaction engineering; ③ Each chapter includes a knowledge summary to highlight the key points and difficulties, facilitating review or self-study. The book is significantly shorter than other similar textbooks, excluding content less closely tied to the teaching syllabus. It is suitable for undergraduate and associate degree students in chemical engineering and technology at universities and colleges. The book consists of nine chapters, covering the following topics: Introduction, Homogeneous Reaction Kinetics, Homogeneous Ideal Reactors, Intrinsic Kinetics of Gas-Solid Catalytic Reactions, Macro Kinetics of Gas-Solid Catalytic Reactions, Fixed-Bed Reactors for Gas-Solid Catalytic Reactions, Gas-Liquid Reaction Processes and Reactors, Thermal Stability and Parameter Sensitivity of Reactors.
