Analytical Chemistry Handbook, Volume 7: NMR Spectroscopic Analysis

Author: Yu Dequan Yang Junshan
Publisher:
Publish Date: 1999-10-01
Features: This volume consists of three parts (three chapters): The first part covers the fundamental principles of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, important spectroscopic methods, and definitions of related parameters and concepts, providing basic knowledge and theory. Given that the original edition's foundational content was too concise and could not keep pace with the rapid development of NMR technology, the revised edition has been expanded into a full chapter titled "Fundamental Principles of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy, Important Spectroscopic Methods, and Related Parameters" to address the shortcomings of the original version. The second part presents the structures and 1H NMR chemical shifts and coupling constants of various organic compounds. In this section, some less important figures from the original edition, such as flavonoids, have been removed, while additional 1H NMR data for more representative structures have been added. The selection of materials has also been carefully considered to reflect the practical applications of various compounds. The third part covers the structures and 13C NMR chemical shifts of various organic compounds, with conceptual conclusions added at the beginning of each chapter for reference. The book also appropriately introduces the chemical shifts of nuclei such as 15N, 19F, and 31P, as well as multidimensional nuclear magnetic resonance methods.
