Young and beautiful female police officer Ou Qingchun takes over a major drug trafficking case with her colleagues. Out of love for Ou, the enthusiastic and innocent college student Xiao Tong accepts the dangerous mission assigned by the Public Security Bureau to infiltrate the drug den and uncover the truth. The thrilling anti-drug battle intertwines with a tragic love story. The novel not only delivers a heart-wrenching condemnation of drugs but also explores and pursues the meaning of life. On the night before her wedding, Ou Qingchun's fiancé sacrifices himself while fighting against drugs. Grief-stricken and furious, Ou dedicates herself to the unfinished cause of her beloved and donates his corneas to Xiao Tong, a law department student, allowing him to regain his sight. Xiao Tong is a passionate and innocent young man. Ou's selflessness, her identity, and the beauty and maturity that far exceed Xiao Tong's imagination inspire his love for her. Ou also develops a fondness for Xiao Tong. However, life is far from simple. The anti-drug team leader Li Chunqiang has pursued Ou for many years, and she carefully avoids his affection. During a casual encounter, Xiao Tong meets the big boss Ouyang L, only to find that this wealthy woman falls head over heels for him immediately. "Without you, time stands still, I remain motionless, letting memories accumulate—" With a gunshot, everything becomes traces of time. Only purity, passion, and perseverance remain, accompanying you forever, never closing your eyes. The resolute lyrics echo in the ears: "Come back quickly—I can't bear it alone, Come back quickly—life is wonderful because of you!"
