Features: Football training and team management are complex tasks that involve the effective understanding and implementation of training principles by coaches who undertake this work. Coaches and head coaches must possess certain skills. These include effective communication skills, the ability to make correct judgments in critical situations, and intelligently handling athletes with different temperaments, even those with a temper. Coaches must have a deep understanding of tactical arrangements before the game and demonstrate high-level ball-handling skills during practice, while also managing the constant pressure from fans, the board, athletes, and the media demanding team success. I have always felt that our guidance and training management lag behind many world-class countries, placing our sport in a very unfavorable position. Over the past few decades, football has made significant progress, and today's coaches or head coaches need to possess higher levels of skills and a deeper understanding of the key factors in achieving team success compared to their predecessors. The work of past coaches and head coaches was primarily based on their own experiences as athletes or on observations of former coaches and head coaches. As a result, the level of randomness in training was relatively high. Many international coaches and head coaches have very systematic, detailed, and in-depth training principles, which have laid a solid foundation for their careers. I have dedicated many years to writing this book, and most of its content comes from my own experiences as an athlete, a central committee member of the coaching staff, and a head coach, as well as my professional insights. To further supplement the content of this book, I consulted many successful European coaches and head coaches and incorporated their perspectives into it. From my own experiences and the collaborative work with coaches and head coaches, I have gradually accumulated insights and formed certain viewpoints. I believe it can help aspiring coaches and head coaches and equip them with the knowledge necessary for team success. This book does not provide clear answers to all questions, as the problems faced by different clubs vary, and each coach and head coach has a unique approach to handling matters. My goal is to outline the key aspects and propose guiding principles that have been successfully used in the past. I hope this book can provide easily acceptable training principles for coaches and athletes, and help them set goals for their entire careers, enabling them to develop winning beliefs in their coaches and train athletes and teams to achieve victory. The revised edition of this book is divided into two parts: Football Training and Team Management. It covers all aspects of the football program, including training methods, team skills, team spirit, motivation, and communication, all of which are crucial for the success of clubs. This book offers clear and universal guiding principles for aspiring coaches and head coaches, making it a must-read for those who wish to develop players' talents and seek effective methods for club success.
